theRing is a searchable database that integrates data coming from 38 public sources of -omics data. Each entry in the theRing database represents a regulatory relation between two entities, described according to a vocabulary controlled term and, when available, its original definition and literature references. Large effort has been spent in standardising nomenclature and guarantee correct data interoperability of underlying data sources.
theRING is designed to help users to easily access integrated and omogeneuous information about regulatory interactions that may take place among etheregeneous entities such as: genes/protein, microRNAs, transcription factors, SNPs, Drugs and Diseases.
